The Portuguese historian Sónia Vaz Borges related her research on the militant education system and the construction of approximately 160 schools in the liberated zones of Guinea during the liberation war 1963-1974. Borges wrote her dissertation on the militant education system of the Guinean liberation movement. Using archival material and memory accounts, this workshop led to experimental activation of the imaginaries and legacy of militant education and its still relevance for the present and future.
